Vancouver born Monica Siu is a Jazz Pianist/Singer, Certified Trained Vocal Instructor , Producer, Band Leader of MONICA SIU Shades of Jazz Quartet,  and Arranger/Composer.

On November 30, 2013 Monica had her “Debut” MONICA SIU Shades of Jazz Quartet -Jazz Originals Show.  Many of those songs (composed and arranged by Monica Siu) will appear on her 2014 CD release.  She is currently writing more material and re-arranging songs in preparation for her 2014 CD release.

Monica expresses a lifetime of experiences in the music she performs. Monica possesses soulful and emotionally moving piano keyboard skills and vocals. Her influences are diverse, and Monica’s distinctive musical style blends Jazz, Latin Jazz, Blues with popular music and improvisation. Monica is a versatile Pianist/Singer, Band Leader, Accompanist (Big Band and Singers).  Monica mainly sings and plays Jazz and Blues; however, as a multi-genre musician, Monica is easily able to perform pop, rock, RNB, Traditional, Christian Contemporary songs etc.

As a Pianist and Singer, she performs regularly – MONICA SIU Shades of Jazz Quartet shows and Monica is the pianist for several Vancouver Big Bands.  She also performs for Corporate Events/Private Parties, Conferences, Festivals and Weddings.   Equally comfortable in many performance settings, and having sung in venues from ODoul’s, the Yales Blues Bar, Grand Villa Casino, Cottage Bistro, to Wedding Chapels and Churches, Monica sings and plays songs honestly, passionately, tastefully, with musical authenticity, and appropriate for the occasion.
