After the wedding vows and pronouncement of marriage, traditionally the marriage license is signed by the bride and groom as well as by two witnesses. This is usually done at a signing table. So how do you choose one?
From her experience, Paster Vickie has some suggestions:
• Pick a small round or square table with one or two chairs. A long table is too large and awkward to use.
• Cover the table, including the sides, with a nice tablecloth to accent the signing table as the focus of attention.
• A vase with flowers can also be placed on the table but make sure that it does not obstruct the view of any guests.
• Ensure that there is a good pen at the table ready to sign the marriage license!
